Sep 29, 2015 I've got an LG BP325 3D Slim Smart Blu-ray, and was wondering whether there is a hack to make the DVD playback region-free? (It's currently set to region 2) Many thanks.
Almost four years ago I bought an LG 370C Blu-ray player. The one thing I liked about it was that on the DVD side, it was region free. It would play DVDs from every region. Recently the DVD portion of the player stopped working. It still plays Blu-rays, but no CDs or DVDs, so I am looking to replace it.
I would like it to be DVD region free again, but am having trouble finding models that aren't DVD Region 1. I know some can be unlocked, but I haven't seen those specific models in stock. So does anyone know if they still sell Blu-ray players in Canada that are DVD Region Free? If not, are there any in stock that have been verified to be unlockable? I don't care about Blu-ray region locking, but I have Region 2 DVDs from Europe that I want to be able to watch without having to rip them to new DVDs. Jun 1st, 2013 10:19 amAccording to this: This will only work on units where the firmware was not updated. The units from 2011 would be best anyway as they do not contain Cinavia chips.
The units after February 2012 would (presumably). The only unit like that at the main store in Thunder Bay was the old display model. Firmware cannot be rolled back, so you might have to buy one, test it and return it if the unit cannot be made region free. Yeah, too bad it doesn't work for Blu Rays, only DVDs. But can confirm that one bought recently from Walmart does work with the hack.
Shillingburg fundamentals of fixed prosthodontics pdf free download. Might try the previous Philips codes on the BDP2100 available at Wal-Mart for $68. I guess that replaced the Seiki. Crappy though because it requires a specific WIFI dongle that isn't included and is expensive compared to similar units. Astrology software programs. Just checked with Wal-Mart in town and they are clearing out a lot of display models, so you can get a good 2D or 3D player for 1/2 price. Since these units were not plugged in, there is no wear on them.
Saw a nice Philips BDP3406 for under $60 today that would suit my purposes and was made before February 2012, so no Cinavia chips inside. This one can be made region free for DVD with a simple to input code.
